Sex is usually a constant in everyone's lives in one way or another, there is a need for it. But music comes and goes.
I realised this about a month ago from looking in the album reviews that all the artists that I praised about 10 years ago are now getting 5 star reviews for mainly old songs and albums that were originally released over 10 years ago to not much critical acclaim. What's the go there?
1. Elliott Smith - An Introduction to Elliott Smith
5 stars
Review praises the artist and his music from start to finish and it's a new album featuring tracks previously un-released. The guy has been dead for almost 10 years. And don't get me wrong, I love the album but if Elliott were alive today would he be getting the same praise and recognition...I pose the question?
Which brings up the topic of death in an artists life. There is no sex for anyone (as far as we know) after life, but for an artist it can be their biggest and most successful years. It's not really fair is it?
no 2. Queens of The Stone Age (self titled debut album) re-release
Another rave review 5 stars "best rock album of all time"
Sorry but did someone just take words out of my mouth?
I knew this was a great album when I first heard it in 2000.
As far as I knew I was QOTSA's only fan. No air play except maybe on Triple j?!
Even after they realeased their 3rd album and had a hit with 'No one knows' anyone I ever spoke to whether at gigs up the front or at a festival fighting for front row, no one knew the songs or the album.
So I guess if fans havn't heard the album yet...now is the time ...
no3. PJ Harvey 'Let England Shake'
I havn't heard this one yet but again it got 5 stars, rave review "Early contender for Grammy, album of the year"
I think all of these albums are great.
So all I can say is "I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Periods Won't Come Soon Enough
We've all been there (If your a lady that is). Girlfriend says to boyfriend "I've got terrible migranes, pain and cravings" and the Boyfriend responds "But you can't be...It's been three weeks, we used protection except for that one night when we we're a bit pissed and you know how you get carried away".
I always panic. Nothing is more gratifying than seeing blood on my panties when It's that time of the month. And It's not to say that I don't want kids, it just never seems to be the right time when I'm waiting for my period.
So anyway. I use to live with this girl and we still weren't in sink which is strange 'cause that's what always happened whenever I lived with another chick. She sorta started getting worried cause she took the morning after pill and she took it late and she got her period but it was light.
She thought that she was pregnant but we found out later it was just a scare, but it doesn't matter the circumstances and how well you protect yourself. Women always worry especially their men when it feels like that time of the month but the bleeding hasn't happened yet.
